VLM sold to Cityjet :: Livery mess up?

General Airline LiveriesPosted by The Blog Owner Sat, November 07, 2009 19:49:08
Successful VLM Airlines is sold to Air France KLM's affiliate Cityjet. The VLM Fokker 50s will receive now the Cityjet livery. But what's up with the Cityjet F50 livery? Is it a re-newed Cityjet livery or is it just the current Cityjet livery? Compared with the British Aerospace Cityjets, the F50 has received a new feature down on the fuselage.

But what are they messing around with the translation of the tailfin red banner, the sizes of the fuselage titles to the F50 and decorating the engine nacelles? I'm aware those two type of aircraft are totally different but despite of that the liveries on both planes are far from consistent... the Cityjet F50 livery need to be reveiwed and re-done i.m.o. © Photo Cityjet BAe 146 by Aldo Bidini - © Photo Cityjet F50 by André Wadman
