Ceiba Intercontinental :: Equatorial Guinean state airline

Airline Brand NewsPosted by The Blog Owner Thu, June 09, 2011 23:51:29
Ceiba of Equatorial Guinea is rebranded as Ceiba Intecontinental. The first aircraft, a Boeing 777-200LR, is painted in a brand new colour scheme and is due to be delivered to the EG government soon. The triple seven will be used mainly for the Head of State, government officials and expats.

The project started back in 2008 when Lila Design of the Netherlands was asked to develop and design a new brand logo and dito aircraft livery design, to be named airEG. In 2011 the project name is re-named as Ceiba Intercontinental. Together with the aircraft manufacturer the airline likely found its inspiration in Lila Design's original airEG logo and aircraft paint design and mixed it with a MEA like livery design for the new Ceiba Intercontinental branding.
