Yes Airways (Warsaw) was founded by two Warsaw businessmen. The new company decided to postpone its launch for the summer of 2010 due to the price war at that time. In April 2011 the new airline acquired two Airbus A320s in order to launch operations for the summer season.
The first, this former CCM Airlines Airbus A320-214 SP-IAA (msn 533, ex EI-DDL/F-GYFK) emerged from the paint shop at Southend on April 21, 2011 where it is pictured.
The company is not related to the former Yes Charter Airlines (now White Airways) of Portugal.
Yes Airways was short-lived, it was rebranded as OLT Express (Poland) in January 2012 by its new owners, the Amber Gold Fund, which also now owns OLT (Germany) and Jet Air (now OLT Jetair) both of which were acquired in 2011. All three companies will operate under the updated OLT brand.
